Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, such as when you create an account, generate content, upload and edit a video, or communicate with us. This includes your email address, billing information, prompts, uploaded video and audio, captions, voiceover scripts, and editing choices.

2. Use of AI Models

To provide our video generation and editing services, relevant data may be processed by third-party AI providers. For example, OpenAI may process voiceover scripts for speech generation and generated-video prompts for still-image generation, Fireworks.ai may process extracted audio for transcription, and OpenRouter-hosted Qwen models may process transcripts when you request an AI voiceover draft. We send only the data needed for the feature you request.

3. Data Retention

Video projects and their associated assets are ordinarily retained for up to seven days so you can preview, export, download, and publish them. Incomplete uploads expire after 24 hours. Expired project files, including uploaded source video, normalized working copies, voiceover audio, captions, and exported video, are automatically deleted by our retention process.

Uploaded source files and intermediate editor assets are kept in private server-side storage and are delivered only through authenticated, ownership-checked requests. They are not placed at public asset URLs.

You may request earlier deletion or ask a retention question through VidiPrompt Support. Some limited account, transaction, security, or legal records may be retained where required.

4. Third-Party Services

Our service integrates with various third-party platforms. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties, and we encourage you to review their respective policies.

5. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Connected Social Accounts

You can disconnect a connected TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube account from your Account settings. Disconnecting removes VidiPrompt's stored authorization for that account. You can also review scheduled and published content in the Publishing calendar.

If Meta sends VidiPrompt a valid signed data-deletion request for an Instagram connection, VidiPrompt removes the stored connection credentials and safely fences unpublished work for that connection. Meta receives an opaque status link that reports only whether the deletion is processing or completed. The status page does not display the social account identity or access credentials.

7. YouTube API Services and Google User Data

VidiPrompt uses YouTube API Services only after you choose to connect YouTube. We access and store a stable Google OAuth identifier, encrypted authorization tokens and granted scopes, and the YouTube video ID and processing status returned for an upload. When you confirm an upload, VidiPrompt sends your selected video file and the title, description, tags, audience, visibility, and disclosure choices you entered to YouTube on your behalf.

We use Google and YouTube user data only to provide and improve the user-facing YouTube upload feature you request. We do not sell Google or YouTube user data, use it for advertising, or use it to train generalized AI models. We do not allow other VidiPrompt users to access your authorized YouTube data. We disclose it only to Google/YouTube to perform your requested upload, to infrastructure providers acting under confidentiality and security obligations as needed to operate VidiPrompt, or when required for legal or security reasons.

OAuth credentials are encrypted at rest and protected in transit. Essential session and security cookies may be used to keep your VidiPrompt account authenticated, but third-party advertisers do not receive your YouTube API data. We retain authorization while your account remains connected and retain upload receipts only as needed to show the publishing status you requested and meet security, support, and legal obligations.

You can disconnect YouTube in Account settings, which revokes VidiPrompt's token and removes the stored authorization. You can also revoke access from the Google security settings page. After revocation is detected, we delete associated authorized YouTube API data within the periods required by YouTube's policies, except data we must retain for legal or security reasons. You may also request deletion or ask a privacy question through VidiPrompt Support.

Your use of Google and YouTube is also governed by the Google Privacy Policy and the YouTube Terms of Service.
