The live editor and API expose the upload, reframe, caption, narration, audio-mix, export, and retention contracts described here. The public example library does not yet contain an authorized before-and-after remix pair, so no generated short is presented as remix proof.
Reframing changes what the viewer can see, while new narration and captions can change what the footage appears to mean. The useful workflow is not simply “make this viral.” It starts with authorized source media, a deliberate aspect-ratio choice, readable timing, and a review of every crop, caption, translation, and audio decision.
VidiPrompt Video Remix works with one video you already own or are authorized to edit. Upload an MP4, MOV, or WebM from 3 seconds to 10 minutes and up to 300 MB, choose source, 9:16, or 16:9 output, then keep the whole frame with a blurred fit or fill the canvas with a crop. You can keep or mute source audio, generate or edit captions, and turn narration off, replace it, or mix it with the original before exporting a new MP4.

Use fill-crop only when the important action remains inside the new frame. Use fit-blur when edge content, demonstrations, slides, or multiple people would be lost. VidiPrompt offers deliberate framing controls; it does not claim automatic speaker tracking or automatic highlight selection.
